  • Our admin fee is based on the percentage of the total savings we secure on your fully comprehensive car insurance. This means the more you save, the more our fee reflects that success. Typically, our fees range from £150 to £400, depending on the level of savings we achieve for you.

  • Once you reach out to us via our website, social media, or a referral, we’ll send you a form to gather essential information for an accurate insurance quotation. We’ll then work to beat the rate you were previously quoted. If you’re happy with the new rate, you’ll pay an admin fee directly to us based on your savings. After payment, we’ll provide you with login details to your MoneySuperMarket account, where you can purchase your policy directly from the insurance provider.

  • All insurance quotes are obtained directly through MoneySuperMarket, a trusted comparison platform. We provide you with login access, pre-loaded with any applicable discount codes, so you can purchase the policy directly from the insurer with complete transparency.

  • Accurate information is essential to ensure your policy is valid and covers you as expected. Any errors, especially in dates for previous points or claims, can impact your policy, potentially voiding coverage. Always provide precise details to avoid complications.

  • If you’ve already purchased a vehicle, we offer a free initial quotation to find you the best rate. If you choose to proceed, the admin fee is calculated based on your savings. If you’re looking at multiple vehicles, we charge £20 to run five registration checks, which will be deducted from the admin fee once you finalize your policy with us.

  • After submitting your form, please allow up to 72 hours for a standard quotation. For a faster turnaround, we offer an expedited service (2-8 hours) for an additional fee. Once you approve the quote and pay the admin fee, we’ll provide login details immediately so you can secure your policy without delay.

  • While we work hard to secure lower premiums, we can’t guarantee specific outcomes as final quotes depend on the insurance company’s criteria, which includes your driving history, vehicle details, and other factors.

  • We help drivers of all ages, including young drivers, experienced drivers, and those with previous convictions or accidents. However, we specialize in helping young drivers who often face high premiums and restrictions on their policies.

  • Most insurance companies offer monthly payment options, allowing you to spread the cost over the year (often with interest). The exact payment terms are set by the insurer, not by SB Consulting. Although rare, some insurers may not offer monthly payments, but we strive to find options that fit your preference.

  • Yes, we aim to secure non-black box policies whenever possible, particularly for young or new drivers. However, availability depends on your personal details and insurer criteria. While some drivers opt for a black box to save on premiums, we frequently find non-black box options that satisfy our clients’ needs.

  • Absolutely. Once you’ve purchased your policy, we’re here to assist with any changes, such as updating your vehicle details, or with general questions regarding your coverage. We’re committed to providing support throughout your policy term.

  • Our reputation has been built on word-of-mouth referrals and customer success. We handle numerous policies each week for drivers across the UK, and our growth is largely due to referrals from satisfied clients.   • If we’re unable to secure a policy, we offer a 100% refund. If you decide to cancel after the policy has been purchased, a 50% refund is available. In cases of issues with your policy within the first 10 days, we provide an 80-100% refund based on the circumstances. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction and coverage, and we’ll work to find another provider if needed. Note: refund requests are rare as our policies are typically robust and reliable.

  • Yes, you can switch insurers, though cancellation fees may apply with your current provider. We’re happy to assist if you need guidance on finding better options or switching mid-policy.
